HOW TO OPEN A ZIP FILE
WHAT IS A ZIP FILE?
A file with the .zip file extension, is simply a collection of one or more files and/or folders that are compressed into a single file that takes up less space. There are many reasons why we use .zip files and they are the most widely used archive format that you will come across. For example, you may have five different files that you need to upload but are only allowed to upload one. Compress those five files into a .zip file and now you can upload all of them as one file. Another way to look at it is if you ordered five different items from an online store, they wouldn’t send each item out separately. They would put them all in the same box and ship them out together.
